Table-Top Labs (LABS) are simple exercises and experiments you can perform in a home or classroom. Your instructor may or may not require you to complete these assignments. (Please note: The iTextiles CD contains many additional Exercises and Experiments complete with fantastic visuals.)
The first PowerPoint screen will contain links to multiple options. Click on the button of your choice to open the associated page.
The "SRQs and LABs" button takes you to a page where you can access all Study and Review Questions and Labs, in both PDF format and Microsoft Word format. PDF files can be printed and then filled out by hand. In Word, the SRQs and LABs can be filled out by computer and then printed out (or e-mailed directly to your instructor).
When a PowerPoint presentation appears on the screen, advance to the next slide using a mouse click. Return to the
first PowerPoint slide by clicking on the "home" button in the lower left corner.
Some slides feature a "return" button in the lower right corner, which takes you to the main
slide for that section, or to the associated slide for "Magnified Views" and "More Examples".
You may navigate using a right mouse click to view your other options for moving about the presentation.
Depending on your computer and software, these may include:
--Next slide
--Previous slide
--Last viewed
--Go to slide #
--Pointer options (choose arrow, pen, or highlighter, and after drawing on screen, hit "E" key to erase)
--Help
--End show (you may also hit the "Esc" key to end the presentation at any time)
