Where can professors see additional resources?

Professors, contact us if we have not already sent you login information for gaining access to the Instructor Tools accompanying iTextiles. You will need to set up the customizable "myCourse" for your class using the Instructor Tools, or else your students will receive the default information there when they login. For assistance with setting up and navigating iTextiles, please contact admin@itextiles.com.

You can also contact us for access to the Professor Resources accompanying The Textile Kit.

What edition of the kit am I using?

Just look in the lower right corner of the index, in the front of your binder. You will see the name of your edition, for example, “Pinnacle" or "Eco."

Why do I have two Key code cards in my kit?

The Textile Kit Online key code card in the front of your kit binder will help you gain access to help in assembling your kit. Your instructor may require you to complete some of the Study and Review Questions (SRQs) or Table-Top Labs (LABS) using this resource. The Textile Kit Online has magnified images, other examples of samples, and audio commentary about each sample, so those may also be of interest to you.
The real excitement happens when you use the iTextiles key code card in the front of your binder, if your instructor chose this option for you. This incredible new software contains a comprehensive electronic textbook, thousands of digital images, lecture presentations, video clips, definitions, interactive self-study questions, experiments and exercises, and more… everything you will need to learn about textiles in a very visual way, in conjunction with the actual physical samples in your kit.

I'm having trouble registering my online access

Please read the assembly instructions in the front of your kit. We also strongly recommend you use the Virtual Lab Assistant on the The Textile Kit Online (access instructions and key code found in the front of your kit binder). Every sample in the example pages may not match yours exactly, but for most people, the Virtual Lab Assistant is helpful in getting and staying on track.
